I have compiled all my videos I made on Dave's car from start to finish. There was quite a bit that I couldn't add due to its overall size of the file, but I think you get the jist of what is going on. This took about a month or so to complete with lots of fabricating and running around to get parts, fix parts etc. The list was long and distinguished. When we fired up the car, 2 issues came up shortly after. First issue was the return line. There was a braid aftermarket one on there that limited oil flow, that backed up in the turbo and started smoking pretty good out of the exhaust. The fix was to use the factory drain tube. So the turbo came off, cleaned with brake cleaner and reassembled and installed. 2nd issue was the car was hunting and surging because of the spring setting in the blowoff valve. This engine has really good vacuum at idle (20 inches), so the spring in there was for 16 inches of vacuum. So the fix for that is a 22 inch spring which made the car idle beautifully. Overall this car is a home run. I'm excited to hear and see the results that Dave has once the real tuning begins and the beast is woken up.
