Sup, folks! Welcome to another stream of retro games!
I'll be playing a very old classic, Kartia, a TRPG (Tactical RPG) for the PS1. It is one of Atlus' very old titles, and if you may have noticed the character illustrations, they are all done by the one and only Yoshitaka Amano, the man resposible for creating the original character renders in the Final Fantasy franchise.
This is a very underrated tactical RPG and this was my first in the genre, before I knew of Fire Emblem.
So let's play this game and show you how it's done.
The game has 2 protagonists, each having a different story and playstyle. You are limited to controlling both Human Units and Phantoms. Don't let 1 human character die or the game is over.
Creating various things, casting magic and such are among the gameplay elements here. So lemme just give you the works!
