Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this episode I teach you how to mod your Lucky Craft Flash Minnow 110 by using Storm Suspenstrips to shift the weight from 16.7 grams to 20 grams. I took this mod out for a quick session and was able to land a legal Sand Bass from the surf. It works!! This weight mod effectively allows you to fish the LC110 into the sand as well as bumping structure such as rocks. The heavier size 4 treble at the front will cause your LC to be nose down, thus limiting potential snags.

This mod can be deadly for targeting halibut in waters deeper than the 4'-8' water column that the standard LC 110 is optimal for.

Items needed for this modification are listed in the links below.

This mod has been tested for hours to ensure proper action and no rolling. Special thank you to my friend William for putting in the time and work so that I can pass it along to you. Be sure to follow the recipe to guarantee proper action. This recipe applies to the Lucky Craft Flash Minnow 110 only.

Formula for Weighted Lucky Craft Flash Minnow 110 (details in video)
1. Remove center belly split ring and treble hook.
2. Replace front hook with Owner ST-41 Stinger Treble Size 4.
3. Place 3 strips starting at the first eyelet and ending at the bill (2 strips side by side, then 3rd strip centered on top). Finger pressure can be applied to adjust the strip placement.
4. Place 2 strips side by side touching the BACK of the forward hook eye. Place 2 more strips on top of the first 2, for a total of 4 strips in middle of your LC.
5. Place 2 strips side by side on the tail, touching the BACK of the center hook eye.
