Today, application engineer, Brian Mongkolpoonsuk, shows you how to import STL files into Fusion 360 and reverse engineer them to become functional 3D bodies.

If you know file types, you know that STL files (or meshes) are usually "dumb bodies" in typical CAD software. This means, you are unable to edit or retrieve any CAD history from them. However, with the power of Fusion 360, you can!

From this session, you will learn how to:

-Import STL files into Fusion 360
-Use T-Spline technology to reverse engineer an STL
-Simplify and edit meshes in Fusion's Mesh Workspace
