(Be sure to stay tuned to the end of the video for a special invitation for questions from Emil Berliner Studios, and the chance to win a signed test pressing of an Original Source LP; email your questions to [email protected]). In the second of two videos covering the latest releases in Deutsche Grammophon's Original Source All-Analogue Vinyl reissue series, I discuss two excellent piano releases. First, a double-LP set of two of the great Mozart Piano Concertos, performed by Friedrich Gulda with Claudio Abbado and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Second, Maurizio Pollini's classic account of Chopin's "Preludes". I also offer comparisons with other audiophile LP versions of both works.
