The Turkish Armed Forces consist of the General Staff, the Land Forces, the Naval Forces and the Air Forces. The Chief of the General Staff is the Commander of the Armed Forces. In wartime, the Chief of the General Staff acts as the Commander-in-Chief on behalf of the President, who represents the Supreme Military Command of the TAF on behalf of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Coordinating the military relations of the TAF with other NATO member states and friendly states is the responsibility of the General Staff. The history of the Turkish Armed Forces began with its formation after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. The Turkish military perceived itself as the guardian of Kemalism, the official state ideology, especially of its emphasis on secularism. After becoming a member of NATO in 1952, Turkey initiated a comprehensive modernization program for its armed forces. The Turkish Army sent 14,936 troops to fight in the Korean War alongside South Korea and NATO. Towards the end of the 1980s, a second restructuring process was initiated. The Turkish Armed Forces participate in an EU Battlegroup under the control of the European Council, the Italian-Romanian-Turkish Battlegroup. The TAF also contributes operational staff to the Eurocorps multinational army corps initiative of the EU and NATO. The Turkish Armed Forces is the second largest standing military force in NATO, after the U.S. Armed Forces, and the thirteenth in the world, with an estimated strength of 1,000,000 military, paramilitary, and navy personnel in 2023. Turkey is one of five NATO member states which are part of the nuclear sharing policy of the alliance, together with Belgium, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands. A total of 50 U.S. B61 nuclear bombs are hosted at the Incirlik Air Base, the most of the five countries. _______________________________ ► More Military videos on: https://www.youtube.com/c/QUASAREntertainment/videos TWITEER: https://twitter.com/QuasarEnter _______________________________ 00:00:00 *Turkish Armed Forces* 00:00:07 *Turkish Land Forces* 00:00:14 - Main battle tanks 00:01:11 - IFV/AFV/APC 00:01:59 - Infantry mobility vehicles 00:02:47 - Tank destroyers 00:03:27 - Mortar carriers 00:04:07 - Ballistic missiles 00:04:39 - Multiple rocket launchers 00:05:19 - Self-propelled artillery 00:06:07 - Towed artillery 00:07:03 - Surface-to-air missile systems 00:07:43 - Anti-aircraft guns 00:08:39 - Anti-drone systems 00:09:27 - Engineering vehicles 00:11:51 - Utility vehicles 00:12:47 - Cargo vehicles 00:15:35 - Unmanned ground vehicles 00:16:55 - Directed-energy weapons 00:17:19 - Radar systems 00:19:35 - Electronic warfare systems 00:20:55 - UAVs 00:23:35 - Helicopters 00:25:03 - Aircraft 00:25:51 *Turkish Air Force* 00:25:59 - Combat aircraft 00:26:23 - AWACS 00:26:39 - Tanker 00:26:55 - Reconnaissance/Electronic warfare 00:27:35 - Transport 00:28:31 - Helicopters 00:29:03 - Trainer aircraft 00:30:07 - UAVs 00:30:47 - Surface-to-air missile systems 00:31:59 - Anti-aircraft guns 00:32:23 - Radars and EW systems 00:34:39 - Armoured vehicles 00:35:03 - Satellites 00:35:35 *Turkish Naval Forces* 00:35:43 - Attack submarine 00:36:15 - Amphibious assault ship 00:36:31 - Frigates 00:37:03 - Corvettes 00:37:19 - Fast attack crafts 00:37:59 - Patrol vessels 00:38:23 - Fast boats 00:38:47 - Unmanned surface vessels 00:39:11 - Mine countermeasures vessels 00:39:35 - Amphibious warfare ships 00:40:07 - Landing craft 00:40:47 - Intelligence ship 00:41:03 - Logistics assistance ships 00:41:19 - Training ships 00:41:43 - Replenishment oilers 00:41:59 - Tankers 00:42:15 - Troopship 00:42:31 - Submarine rescue ship 00:42:47 - Rescue and salvage ships 00:43:03 - Emergency response and diving training boats 00:43:19 - Net laying ships 00:43:43 - Tugboats 00:44:31 - Hydrographic survey ships 00:44:55 - Maritime patrol aircraft 00:45:19 - Transport aircraft 00:45:35 - Trainer aircraft 00:45:51 - Helicopters 00:46:23 - UAVs 00:46:55 - Armoured vehicles 00:47:27 - Air Defence systems 00:47:51 *Turkish Coast Guard* 00:47:59 - Patrol vessels 00:49:35 - Aircraft 00:49:51 - Helicopter 00:50:07 - UAVs 00:50:31 - Armoured vehicle 00:50:47 *Gendarmerie General Command* 00:50:55 - Patrol vehicles 00:52:55 - Armoured vehicles 00:54:39 - Community Incident Intervention Vehicle 00:55:11 - Engineering vehicle 00:55:27 - Aircraft 00:55:59 - Helicopters 00:56:47 - Gyrocopter 00:57:03 - UAVs 00:57:59 - Security boat 00:58:15 *Future procurement* #turkisharmy #turkishnavy #turkisharmedforces #turkishairforce #full #review #equipment #turkey #army #forces
