Ah, Die Another Day... The perpetually torn apart movie that serves as an end to Pierce Brosnan's run as James Bond. Released in time for the 40th anniversary of the series, this film is nothing if not big, loud and ambitious. It has a star studded cast, creative people well-versed in contemporary action cinema, and a story that covers everything from terrorists to camouflaged public figures. The trouble is that if you fail at going for spectacle when you leap from the diving board, the splash from your belly flop will be remembered more than your attempt. Is the film really that bad, or are our memories a little skewed because of the presence of bad things in an otherwise solid movie? Next in the Series: Casino Royale (2006)
