Pierce Brosnan gets his chance to make his mark on James Bond, and to be honest, it feels effortless. But does the movie that defined a generation's interest in the character (unless you count the N64 game) still hold up almost 30 years later....? Pretty much, yeah. Filled with great action, a stellar cast, and an incredible push forward, this is one of the most important Bond films ever made, and without it, Bond likely would have died in the ashes of the Cold War.
