After traveling 14 months and 55.000 km, we are reviewing our Land Rover Defender Camper build. We crossed three continents and experienced freezing winter nights, brutally hot deserts, and humid rainforests.
Two years ago as we decided to go on a World trip we looked at our Land Rover Defender Td5 and started planning an interior that supports living in this not-so-big car for several months. The goal was to maximize storage space and water capacity, as well as have everything we need daily easily accessible and make as light as possible.
Looking back we can say we achieved most of it, and the choices we made paid off. We drove 55.000 km without a breakdown, and we only had to do smaller repairs and maintenance.
