Revisiting Jetpac on the ZX Spectrum. Released in 1983 by Ultimate Play the Game (who became Rare in the 1990s), Jetpac was a genuine step up in quality at the time and is a classic Spectrum arcade game.
Amazingly it runs on the original 16K Spectrum and was I think the very first game I played on my ZX Spectrum+ when I received it for Christmas. It was also the first game I loaded when I received my ZX Spectrum Next KS2 in December 2023.
I haven't properly played Jetpac for several years, I usually book it up for a quick go, whereas for this video I had the aim of seeing how far I could get.
What are your memories of Jetpac? Do you remember seeing the Space Shuttle ship on the later levels?
