With the deadine of race week in 3 days, it was time to drop a gear and make this build happen! It's funny how much time you take with items on the first go around. Then time starts to dwindle and you just have to get it done!
This 1955 Chevy Belair started life as a family cruiser then was up graded to a stripped down stock car. After it was rescued last year ladder bar rear suspension and a straight axle were grafted to the original frame. In sense it now had the "gasser" look but NOTHING else was done.
We had to install the racey 327, 4 speed and 9 inch rear end all in the matter of a few days. The car also needed wired, plumber, aligned, hell it needed everything assembled!
There was not 1 piece of this car that was not touched in the last 4 days. Now it's time to have our very own ROADKILL style adventure!
