So I started watching Re:Zero and I just now finished Season 1. With Re:Zero Season 3 doing so well in 2024, I decided to recap Re:Zero. Subaru has one of the best character arcs I have seen in anime, and Season 1 of Re:Zero will make you cry with all of the pain that Subaru is put through. This includes his encounter with the Witch Cult, including Betelgeuse. Subaru also meets a lot of friends that he desperately wants to protect like Emilia, Rem, Julius, and more. My Re:Zero summary is that now that I've finished Season 1 I can say Re:Zero is PEAK.
