Thank you to my mom for surprising me with this score on my birthday last year! I wouldn't have thought myself capable of playing it, but I'm glad she has a correct estimation of my level of nerdiness :) The song is a blast of fun to play, from start to finish! I'm quite impressed how well the adaptation for solo guitar works with this piece.
I knew there was no way my nervous hands could ever play the whole thing without making several mistakes. As always, I try to approach my videos with the attitude of "here's what a real human sounds like playing a song from start to finish, as if it's a live concert." I did two takes this morning. My computer fell asleep during the first take, so that one was botched. Therefore, the 2nd take had to do, buzzes, misplaced fingerings, memory lapses and all!
