Many people used to holiday here regularly with there Parents and Grandparents during Rhyl's heyday.
I have many happy memories here as a lad, as my father does with his father and mother, he has told me many stories.
Before its demise in the late 80s and 90s, Rhyl used to be a very popular place to holiday.
In its heyday, it used to be absolutely packed with Mums Dads and Children enjoying themselves. sadly now deteriorated as a holiday destination, it's virtually disappeared, leaving only a few faded reminders of the past remaining, and of course, the memory ….
