In this video I make macaroni & cheese in my rice cooker. It's all cooked in one pot! Recipe listed below:
1 c. Water
1 c. Whole Milk
1 t. Salt
Pinch ground black pepper
1 t. Dry mustard
Pinch cayenne pepper
1 c. Small pasta (elbow, small shells, etc.)
1-1/2 to 2 c. Shredded cheddar cheese
3-4 T. Cream cheese
Add all ingredients to the cooking pot. Cook until rice cooker flips over to the keep warm cycle. Stir several times during the cook cycle to keep cheese from burning on the bottom. After cooking is complete, let sit in keep warm mode until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
