The long awaited trip to Richtersveld is now just another memory. What a beautiful area of South Africa. It's been our 4th visit in the Richtersveld park and definitely not the last. It's food for the soul and resets your thinking of life in general. Spending time with family and friends is priceless.
In this video we travel from Cape Town to Highlander, the first stop over. Highlander is about 2 hours from Cape Town and a really good option for an overnight stop. From Highlander, we travelled north to Growcery Camp and then entering the Richtersveld on Day 3 via the Nababeeb area. It's a fairly slow drive but well worth the time. Our first 2 nights in the Richtersveld was at the Potjies Pram camp sites. It's next to the river which is a non-negotiable in summer months.
