Welcome back to another video! Today, I'll be traveling on one of Amtrak's State supported trains operated under the Amtrak Midwest brand. With four daily trips, the Lincoln Service travels 284 miles between St. Louis, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois. The trip takes just over 5 hours as we travel through the Illinois countryside on our way up to Chicago's Union Station. The consist of our train today is made up entirely of Horizon Cars. Built by Bombardier between 1988-1990, These cars are derived from the Comet Car which is used by several commuter railroads in the United States. Come along with me as I take a ride onboard Amtrak Train 302, The second daily Lincoln Service. Making all intermediate station stops up to Chicago's Union Station.
Enjoy the Video!
