Chantry flats opened this past week! This is a road I've been wanting to ride for a while but it's been closed for a few years due to damage and erosion caused by wildfires. Now thanks to the national forest service and many local volunteer groups it's finally re-opened! The paved road climb was about 4 miles and 1200ish feet of climbing. Beautifully maintained pavement, epic views and nice twisty corners were some of the highlights. Adam's pack station at the top (Short walk past the parking lot) also served espresso drinks as well as snacks and drinks. Super rad short climb. Stoked its back open. Oh yeah! My riding partner got a new bike too! Tarmac SL8 Ultegra di2 8170 Roval Rapide handlebar Roval rapide C38 wheels Thanks for tuning in. Go shred something.
