Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Finding ore cars, a rock drill, purple colored drifts and some other very unusual artifacts made this dangerous shaft descent worth it. We only made it down to the third level of this fourteen level mine before we turned back, but, it was a good start, and a tease of what might lie deeper into the mine.
This Nevada fluorite, gold and silver mine has 14 levels and is approximately 600 feet deep. The levels are spaced 50 feet apart not the usual 100 feet. This mining site was first discovered in 1906 and the ore mined is composed of cinnabar, quartz and fluorite. Some of the underground drift levels have been obliterated by more recent open pit mining, although it looked like the pit was less than 150 feet deep.
Hopefully, we can make a return visit to see what some of the lower levels have to offer. We hope you enjoy the video!
