Ratmalana International Airport (RML), located in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is the country’s first international airport. Established in 1935, it served as the main airport until Bandaranaike International Airport took over in 1967. Today, Ratmalana Airport handles domestic flights, private jets, and aviation training while also supporting regional international flights. It plays a key role in Sri Lanka’s aviation sector, offering charter services and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities.
