Road Less Traveled | Devil's Mountain and Bato-ili | Occidental Mindoro Philippines

Location:
Bato-ili and Devil's Mountain is in Barangay Monte Claro at the northern part of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro. Monte Claro is at the northern boundary of San Jose with Calintaan and Rizal. The area is scenic and sparsely populated.
Bato-ili is at the foot of Busuanga Bridge, dividing Barangay Manoot and Barangay Batasan. The road going to Bato-ili is cemented.
Devil's Mountain, also known as Angel's Mountain, is in Sitio Naitan. The road going to this location is paved dirt and rough during monsoon season.
How to go there:
Take the oversized provincial jeep from San Jose town proper going to Monte Claro. Tricycles and private vehicles can also be rented going to Monte Claro. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes.
