This healthy snack is made by roasting thin poha variety with few spices, curry leaves and nuts (peanuts, sliced coconut, Roasted Chana Dal).
As it is a dry snack, it has a longer shelf life. Roasted poha chivda is usually made a few days before Diwali, stored in an airtight container (dabba) and enjoyed throughout this festive week.

Ingredients
Thin Poha- 1 kg
Roasted Chana Dal-150 gm( 2 bowl)
Peanuts- 350 gm ( 3 bowl)
Sliced Dry Coconut- 200 gm (4 bowl)
Refined peanut oil-250 ml
Chopped Green Chilli-120 gm
Powdered Sugar-80 gm (1 bowl)
Whole coriander seeds-25 gm (3/4 th Cup)
cloves-2 gm(15 to 2o numbers)
Black pepper whole ( 2 1/2 Table spoon)
Bay leaf- 1 gm (4 to 5 number)
White sesame seeds- 20 gm (2 Table Spoon)
Cumin seed- 10 gm( 1 1/2 Table Spoon)
Turmeric powder- 16 gm( 2 1/2 Table spoon)
Amchur powder- 20 gm ( 2 1/2 Table spoon)
Curry leaves- 40 gm
Sauf /fennel seeds- 10 gm( 1 1/2 Table Spoon)
Black salt- 12 gm( 1 1/2 Table Spoon)
Rock Salt powder- 30 gm ( 2 1/2 Table Spoon)
Hing- 1 gm ( 1 Tsp)
Mustard seeds- 15 gm (1 1/2 Table spoon)
