These 1-2-3 Trim Bands for rod building will help you get some practice on single turn trim bands (also called single wrap trim bands) & wrap inlays at the same time. It is a good practice wrap and it also looks nice for use on a build. You can make fewer turns between inlay in order to make the trim smaller if you need to. I'm trying for a better visual in this video by using mason's line instead of wrapping thread. It is tough to work with but the larger diameter makes it easier to see what is going on.
