It is very unusual to have something completely new come out of the gun industry but I suppose it is no surprise that a Turkish firm like ATA have taken up the rifle building baton and run with it. In fact they are running very well by all accounts offing a new sub £1000 sporting rifle in a myriad of configurations and styles. It is the first bolt action centrefire rifle to come out of Turkey and ATA have built up a good reputation for producing cost effective shotguns so this Turqua which is the rifles new name should have the same appeal?
As such the Turqua offers a very cost effective way to enter the centrefire rifle market place leaving plenty of room or money in ones budget compared to a similar rifle to fit a new scope, sound moderator and maybe a box of ammunition or two.
Key features include a sliding three position safety, two stage adjustable trigger, a barrel guaranteed to shoot sub MOA for three shots at 100 yards and grey laminate thumbhole stock.
We conduct a full test on the range , out to 200 yards on steel targets and conclude with a Roe buck stalking during the rut.
