The Roland MT-32 MIDI synthesiser is an iconic synthesiser from the late 1980's. In this video we are going to build an emulator based on a Raspberry PI, step by step.
I will show you everything you need for building your own Roland MT-32 emulator and take you through how to program it and configure the necessary settings.
I'll then go on to demo it working with an Atari ST with Space Quest III, and demonstrate the huge difference between the sound from an Atari ST and that of the Roland MT-32
