In this video we take the Mazdaspeed 3 out for some POV runs down in Mexico with the BNR S5 turbo running about 26 psi of peak boost, and 12 degrees of ignition advance at 6000 rpm. The rev limit is currently set to 7000 rpm but I do intend on eventually raising it higher. At this stage of tuning, in order to keep knock under control, I'm mixing in 2 gallons of pure methanol with 94 octane pump gas in the main tank and adjusting for it in the tune. As always 1st and 2nd gear are a limiting factor in this car due to being front wheel drive, having short gen 1 gearing, and me being a complete amateur driver. That being said, 3rd gear and up are just asking for more power. This car isn't perfect, but it gets the adrenaline pumping more often than not. Enjoy the video! Please like, share, and subscribe :)
