The Meerut South RRTS station commenced passenger operations linking Meerut more closely to Delhi. Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor is now functional, From New Ashok Nagar to Meerut South.
The full 82-km long corridor from Delhi to Meerut is expected to be operational by June 2025.
The new RRTS line significantly impacts life in the region by enabling people to live in Meerut and work in Delhi, Noida, or Ghaziabad. This development is also expected to boost the real estate market, particularly in the previously underdeveloped areas east of Ghaziabad.
