UNTOLD Podcast, Episode - 147 ft. Rubu Borah, stood Rank-14 in the Assam Civil Services (ACS), Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2023. Rubu Borah's story is an inspiring one from Assam. One that tells you how a Civil Servant aspirant turned himself into one, rising from poverty. Rubu's story began in 2016, when he stood among the Top-10 of then Class-10 Matriculation Examination under the State Government. Following this, several people came forward to help him financial - to help him excel in terms of his education. He completed his graduation from Cotton University and then went to Delhi University to pursue his Masters, when he started to work for an IAS-based Coaching Institute there as a Content Creator. He attempted multiple examinations including UPSC twice & other competitive examinations, but failed to pass through. Amidst all the setbacks, Rubu on his very first attempt was able to clear his APSC examinations, also securing a rank among the top-20. His father is a 'Pan' Shop owner. His mother works at the harvesting fields. Coming from a very humble background, Rubu has fought against tough financial situations, rising up from the 'Below the Poverty Line'.
