Finally got my Ruggedmade 737 in after a few weeks waiting, I have some maple with lots of knots and twists to make the Ruggedsplit struggle. It handled everything very well with the short run getting used to everything on the splitter but the good news is I have plenty of wood cut up to keep me busy for a few days to finish working out the bugs.
My biggest complaint with this splitter is the wedges, 4way and 6way wings are way too short unless you are splitting 8-10" rounds. if you are splitting anything over 12" that is stringy you will be making multiple splits to get them separated. All in all after about 2hr on the machine so far it seems like a solid unit for the price, definitely no eastonmade or wolf ridge but also much more budget friendly.
