Hi Everyone, this is pt.2 of the little mini series on how I rust fabrics for my embroideries and journal covers. It's a very easy and basic method using household products and is relatively quick. What you will need are as follows: GLOVES! Vinegar ( cheap white vinegar is best but malt vinegar will work as well but will leave a colour residue on your fabric) Table salt Bowl String Scissors Fabric to rust ( I use old pillow cases or sheets) Metal to rust A steamer (optional, as this method can be done without). Cling film or wrap (optional but necessary if you want to do the resist ) I do cover another method in pt.3 of the mini series that will give different results yet again. Thank you so much for watching. If you have any questions please leave me a comment and I'll try to help if I can.
