After leaving Glacier National Park and dropping Tori off at the airport, we began our unplanned drive east across Montana and North Dakota. Sometimes no reservations can be exhausting! We arrived to Makoshika State Park at 9:45 pm to find all the sites were taken. We called ahead, but cars must have pulled in last minute. So we ended up making dinner in the Disc Golf parking lot and then spending the night at an RV park before making our way to Medora Campground. We were unable to see the infamous Medora Musical and partake in the Pitchfork Steak Fondue, but we still enjoyed our 3 days in Medora, ND.
