RVing as "some timers" can sometimes be disappointing because severe weather can ruin your plans to have a nice relaxing camping experience. This is what happened to us. The weekend of March 14-16, 2025, we were booked for a 3-night stay at Buck Pocket State Park Campground but after arriving, we were told the campground could possibly flood and that there will be tornado activity in the area but would be informed later on if the area would be impacted after getting more weather alert updates. We did not want to leave, but we felt that leaving was best for us and that we could always make plans to return. We hope you enjoy this video, it was short, but we felt that it was important to show this experience with you so that if you're ever in a situation like this just know that it happens to us all so remember safety first! Happy camping!
