Important note added after posting:
In the video I show 'swapping ends' using the swap ends tool. It works in the example I show here because I have two equal lengths of plain track. However, in most other cases it is the wrong tool to use as it will upset the sleeper spacings. I am grateful to Martin Wynne for pointing out my error which if uncorrected might otherwise lead to confusion.
Martin has kindly posted about the correct procedure here:

In this video I show how straight forward it can be to create elements of model railway track (called bricks) for 3d printing using the Templot software.
If you are new to Templot, or the 3d printed Plug Track system, then I'd suggest checking out my other videos on the subject for an introduction as to what it's all about.
Viewers please note that all the 3d features in Templot are still experimental. They work and lots of us are now producing accurate track using it. However, the development process is fast-paced and Martin Wynne and his collaborators are making improvements all the time.
I have no association with Templot, it is the creation and intellectual property of Martin Wynne. I am simply an enthusiastic user of the software, keen to share my experiences with it.
I'd thoroughly recommend anyone interested in learning more to consult (and become involved with) the Templot Club forum. It can be found here:
