Kukki is very keen on meeting Chandni, but does not get any opportunity. She is even not able to see Chandni as she has covered her face. Saloni then decides to unveil Chandni so that everyone can see her, but before she can, the power suddenly goes off. Everyone goes to check what's wrong while Kukki stays with Chandni. She then confronts Chandni and accuses her of being an imposter as Chandni is dead. However, Chandni asserts that she is very much alive as she had miraculously survived. Kukki does not believe her and keeps on repeating that Chandni is dead, but Chandni remains unmoved and asks Kukki how she can be so sure that she is dead. At this, Kukki loses her cool and asserts that she knows that Chandni is dead because she herself had killed Chandni! Kukki suddenly realises the blunder she has made, but it is too late as she finds everyone staring at her. Saloni then asserts that Chandni is indeed dead and the girl in Chandni's attire is none other than Tara! Saloni then explains to everyone how she had laid the trap for Kukki. She tells Kukki that she started suspecting her when Brijesh and Tara had informed the court about Chandni. Saloni thanks the police commissioner, who is present in the party, who helped her expose Kukki. Kukki gets furious and admits killing Chandni. She asserts that since her husband has willed his entire property in Brijesh and Nahar's name, she wanted Nahar to marry a girl of her choice so that she could keep the property under her control. She then tells everyone how she had killed Chandni.
