Ayyappa is the hindu god of growth, particularly popular in Kerala. He is a syncretic deity, the son of Shiva and Mohini the female avatar of Vishnu. Ayyappan is also referred to as Ayyappa, Sastavu, Hariharaputra, Manikanta, Shasta or Dharma Shasta.
