This extended version with 'Red Eye' was originally intended for the U.S. release of the Diamond Life album. However, the edit version w/ the spoken intro was used instead. This is the same version used in the extended music video of Smooth Operator.
The original 12-inch single release was not available commercially in the U.S. until a limited edition of that 12-inch single was re-issued in 2005.
