In this new epic transitions tutorial I'll show you how to accomplish the Sam Kolder luma fade transition. He uses this effect in a lot of his vacation & travel videos. This is a bit more of an advanced transition, since you can achieve this effect in Premiere Pr. But in this one I take it a step further in After Effects. I'll show you how to transition from walking out of a door - into the ocean - to the ocean in your cup of coffee. I'll show you two ways you can create this Luma Fade transition effect to create the specific look you want. We'll use a few different effects & transitions from the Luma fade to a Burn Film effect to a zoom transition. If need be I can also create a quick tutorial on how you can easily do this in Premiere Pro as well. • For this tutorial, I use Adobe After Effects CC 2017. No plugins are required. KEYS TO SUCCESS: • Create mattes and use the track matte functions to have more control on your effect. • Test out other effects like the Burn Film effect. • Use the parent fucntion to connect your ocean clip to your coffee zoom. ACTOR: You can follow Leo on his Instagram account: instagram.com/4kvisuals Please leave a like if this helped you and if you have any questions or want to learn a certain effect please let me know in the comments section and I'll get to it to you ASAP. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUBCRIBE to the channel for weekly videos: https://www.youtube.com/BardProductions FOLLOW ME ON SOCIAL Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/magicbard Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/magicbard Snapchat: @magicbard SONG: Song: Malik Bash - Ghosts [NCS Release] Music provided by NoCopyrightSounds.
