SAMARPAN #135 : August 28th 2022, Sunday - Talk by Colonel Arun Malhotra || Brindavan Dear Brothers and Sisters, SAI RAM ! SAMARPAN means ‘offering’, ‘total surrender’. This is an initiative by the alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Institutions (Sri Sathya Sai Students) as an offering in their loving gratitude to Swami. For Sai Students, Swami is their parent, guru, friend, philosopher, guide and God. All initiatives organized are with total surrender to Bhagawan, whose divine guidance has helped them achieve several small and big milestones. Hence, ‘total surrender’ to His Will. SAMARPAN is a platform for students & staff, devotees and alumni to reconnect with their Lord. We are honoured to have Colonel Arun Malhotra addressing all of us at the 135 th Samarpan session at Brindavan. Colonel Arun Malhotra is a military veteran, having served for over 30 years in active combat roles, both as a paratrooper and as a Black Cat commando. He has a strong academic and leadership background in addition to his combat role in the Armed Forces, where he served from 1962 to 1999. He has completed M.Sc. and M.B.A. degrees. He has been invited as a guest speaker at numerous corporate and academic institutions, to speak on varied topics such as Leadership, Grooming and Etiquette, Communication Skills, Armed Forces as a Career, Art of Teaching, Personality Development etc. He has been associated with our beloved Bhagawan for over 45 years now. Col. Arun Malhotra was invited to organize Sports Day programmes in the presence of Swami and had also spoken in many Trayee Brindavan sessions in the immediate Divine presence of Swami. He was also invited to conduct a one year “De-addiction Programme” in the rural villages of Karnataka. He is the author of the book ’Divinity at Play’, which is a narrative of his personal experiences with Swami. During one of the many personal interactions that he had with Swami, Swami told him, “Yes, I am your Friend, Philosopher and Guide. I am what you think I am”. To know more about this and to listen to several other firsthand experiences that Col. Arun Malhotra has had with our Lord, let us tune into the SSSSOKA YouTube Channel with our family and friends for this month’s online satsang session. With all our Prema, Sri Sathya Sai Students
