Sampeng Market in Bangkok, Thailand is unlike all the tourist markets.It super local, you get the vibe , the food and the people. Even you plan to but nothing, its worth walking around.
A typical traditional open-air market, Sampeng Market is one of Bangkok’s biggest, cheapest and most popular places to buy wholesale products, as well as a slice of ‘real Thailand’, which as a tourist you would love. If you only knew where it was, what to buy and how to get there.
You can reach here by taking mrt to sam yot. Not far from city centre. Sampeng market was in alley, connected block by block. Crowded and mostly local who shop here.
If you love to buy ladies accessories, you must come here. There sale all kind of earing, hair accessories, textile and this place not many tourist and price are reasonable.
Opening hours of Sampeng Market are from 9 am – 6 pm daily. This is one of the rare markets in Bangkok that remains open during daytime. The market is a bit more crowded on weekends.
