Hi all!
A very delayed SF vlog - we've definitely been back in Australia for over a month already haha.
SF was always my favourite city, I've visited it a few times and the architecture just always gets me. I will say - it's shockingly expensive and also would highly recommend staying away from Union Square and the surrounding streets in the downtown area.
My favourite spots are:
North Beach
Presidio
Valencia Street in the Mission District - although be warned that there are some very dodgy bits in Mission District
Unfortunately we didn't have much else time to do anything else.
There were definitely some very unglamourous sections of SF, which was a very bit hit of reality as opposed to the overly romanticised view I had of it previously. However I would still highly recommend going - just stay in the northern parts and you'll be sweet haha.
