The highest peak in West Bengal with an elevation of 3638 meters (11930 feet). This peak on the West Bengal-Nepal border, along the Singalila National Park in Darjeeling, is the highest point on the Singalila Hills. Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lotse and Makalu - all four of the world's five highest peaks can be seen from Sandakphu. According to tourists, there are very few places in the world where you can see the 6000 feet peaks. Best season for kanchenjungha view is from October to March.
On 8th December 2021 our journey started from Sealdah on North Bengal Express. The first episode of this series contains great train ride from Sealdah to New Jalpaiguri and in the second episode we reached at Tumling via Maneybhanjyang. In today's video we have reached at our final destination, Sandakphu.
