This is the second part of my journey in practicing Sashiko on this thrifted jacket.

I made mistakes, but carried on regardless and have to say I'm thoroughly happy with how the jacket has been transformed. Learning a new skill is always worth it. Giving yourself the grace to accept that mistakes may happen but that in the end you will have learnt something is all part of it I think.
I hope you might be encouraged to try upcycling a jacket of your own with some Sashiko stitching. Some of the patterns seem magical as they appear before your eyes!
