The Summer Course in Indian Culture and Spirituality in 1976 was held at an entirely new venue - the Nanadanavanam school in the city of Ooty - instead of the usual venue at Brindavan. But it turned out to be a unique experience in ways more than one! For starters, Swami had a 'running race' with the students! Swami also told the students to clean up the town of Ooty and promised them, "How well you clean the outside, that well I will clean you from inside!" The most memorable fortnight came to a close with an unforgettable private session where Swami materialised a medallion containing the future of the Sathya Sai Mission in 100 Sanskrit shlokas (verses).
But the greatest gifts were Swami's assurances to His students, devotees and followers! These assurances are timeless and will ensure that we will no longer hanker behind the past or worry about the future.
