Satyakam is a 1969 drama starring Dharmendra, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjeev Kumar and others. Satyapriya is a hopeful young man waiting for a new India to be built after freedom. As an Engineer, he works for a Prince who is morally corrupt. He is about to sexually assault Ranjana whom Satyapriya likes. In spite of this, he does nothing to save her and questions his own conscience. Out of guilt, he marries Ranjana. Later, he struggles professionally and falls sick.
