It is time to remodel my parents' bathroom to make it safer and more comfortable for them. The old bathroom has a tub/shower fixture that is becoming unsafe to climb into and the door entry is at the most inconvenient corner of the bedroom suite.
Second objective of the upgrade is to add a lot of new features to modernize the bathroom with radiant heated floor, multi-function lighted shower system, safety handles, shower niche, heated toilet seat bidet, accent lighting, network connection, electrical, plumbing, furniture and a new window (install in spring)
After this remodeling, I've learnt a lot of techniques and picked up some new tools added to my collection. Also there are certain things I would've done better next time. Overall the project went smooth, but underbudget and time by about 30% both. Still a huge savings of $15,000 of hiring labor electrician and plumber to let someone else do it.
