I was asked a few times after the last video about Piston Ring ring gap orientation aka "Clocking" so here's a video that should help out you first time engine builders!
Ring Install on basic SBC pistons!
Ring orientation is another thing that everyone does differently, I've done it the CP carrillo piston way for years and have had good luck with leak downs and oil control.
Plus a tip on making sure your rods are facing the right direction, a very common mistake!
