Next, we jump into all of the reasons "WHY" your application was rejected and refused. This includes reflecting over your application and seeing what was missing or not aligned to the type of Schengen visa you were requesting.

You cannot submit an appeals letter or follow the process without knowing the reason for rejection. Unfortunately, the Embassy will not typically tell you exactly why it was rejected, meaning that you will need to evaluate the reason behind it.

Always include your Personal details: such as your name, date of birth, passport number, address, etc

Outline the reasons as to why documents were incorrect, missing or overlooked as this helps provide the Embassy and Consulate with confidence that you are not trying to lie in order to get a visa. Do not forget to outline why you believe your visa was originally refused, as this shows maturity and do not forget to include an apology.

In a bullet point list, outline exactly what documents you have replaced, added or changed so that it is easier for the reviewer to see what you have changed and outline a reason as to why it might have been missed in the first place.
