Hello and welcome to Marie's Scrappy Creations! Today, I'm going to show you how to make the Scrappy Ladder Block by Cyndy Clemons. This block finishes at 12.5". I was first introduced to this block when I joined an online quilt block exchange group found here:

To make this, you'll need the following:
For Version #1:
* Ladder Sides - Two (starched) 20" x 1.5" strips of Black or Preferred Color for strips
* Various widths of inner ladder strips, at least 5" long, no wider than 2.25"
* Various widths of outer strips, 13" and down
For Version #2:
* Ladder Sides - Two (starched) 20" x 1.5" strips of Black or Preferred Color for strips
* Various widths of inner ladder strips, at least 5" long, no wider than 2.25"
* One (starched) 10" block that is a solid or tone on tone, cut diagonally as shown in video
Use 1/4" seams and a tighter stitch than usual.
