Please go down to “Note” to see the mistake that is in the video. Very fun project to use up some of your skinny or smaller scraps. I use these along with wedding gifts, I use them for coasters/mug rugs and for hot dishes on tables as well as potholders. I’ve used one square of batting and one square of Insul-Bright but it would probably be heat resistant enough if someone were to use two squares of batting. I’m pretty sure that’s how my almost 30 yr old potholders were made and they are heat resistant and don’t melt. I’ve included a link for a “how to make binding” video at the bottom of this description box.
Coming at end of November 2020 a video of how to make a stitch as you go log cabin quilt. So once that’s up I’ll have the link to that below.
