No clickbait, A Sepecat jaguar really did land on the M55 motorway!
The M55 runs from Preston to Blackpool and it seems for the most part, it was built to plan without any major issues. That's a rarity.
The M55 does have a few secrets though.. for a while it was part of the first motorway built in the UK and with construction of a new junction underway, you could say the motorway has been unfinished since it's conception in the late 50s.
In this series we aim to explore what our motorway network is hiding. As we drive along at 70mph..ish...we simply just wouldn't be aware of what we're missing. This series aims to uncover some of the hidden secrets our motorways have to offer.
